Reducing Poverty in Latin America Through Education

Worldfund’s mission is to raise the quality and relevance of education in Latin America—the key to transforming lives and breaking the cycle of poverty.

Worldfund gratefully acknowledges Santander for hosting us at its 14th Annual Latin American CEO Conference in Cancun, Mexico, attended by hundreds of Latin American corporates and investors.  We connected with many Worldfund supporters and visited a partner school serving the poor in the area.  Thank you, Santander, for your long-standing support!

Many thanks to the New York Stock Exchange for including Worldfund as a featured charity in its 2009 holiday card and appeal.  We are enormously grateful.

Worldfund achieves its mission through its investment in schools, after-school academic programs and teacher and principal training.

Latin American students perform well below their international peers, even those living in countries at similar economic levels. We are working to change this reality. Worldfund reaches 86,000 students annually, and aims to reach 250,000 students annually over the next six years.
