Carlos Labarthe

Carlos Labarthe is Co-founder and Co-CEO of Banco Compartamos, a Mexican microfinance bank.  Compartamos is one of the primary institutions providing loans to rural women in Mexico, serving a customer base of over 640,000 clients throughout 210 branches in the country.  Mr. Labarthe is also Chairman of the MicroFinance Network (MFN) Steering Committee and a member of the Executive Committee of the Consultative Group to Assist the Poorest (CGAP).
