Both IAPE programs welcome the participation of English teachers from public institutions throughout Mexico.

IAPE Teachers' Collaborative

The IAPE Teachers' Collaborative takes place at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH, USA, and is designed for English language educators at public schools and public universities in Mexico who work with under-resourced populations and have a minimum Institutional TOEFL score of 500. Because group composition is a critical factor in determining the program's impact in Mexico, preference is given to groups of three or four educators from the same state, with different levels of responsibility, and who are committed to working together as a team to implement new teaching practices in their states. When possible, preference will also be given to groups that include teachers at elementary, secondary, and university levels.

It is designed for English language educators who work with under-resourced populations and have an Institutional TOEFL score between 425 and 499. Teachers with higher English proficiency are encouraged to apply for the IAPE Teachers’ Collaborative.
