John Boord

John Boord was named head of Latin American Investment banking for Citigroup in December 2008.  Prior to that he was Managing Director and Co-Head of the Global Retail Investment Banking Group at Citi.  He began his career at Citigroup in 1992 and during that time has led the origination and execution of strategic advisory and capital raising mandates for leading corporations and families in the United States and abroad.  Prior to his current position, John was the Head of the Latin America Investment Banking Group at Citigroup.  At Citigroup, he is also a member of the Investment Banking Operating Committee.  John received a BSE in Finance and Management from the Wharton School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania. In 1992, he graduated with an MA in International Relations and an MBA from Yale University.
