Letter from Worldfund Supporter Bradshaw McKee on his Visit to Mano Amiga Chalco

February 2009 

We had a wonderful experience today with the incredibly dedicated team at Mano Amiga in Chalco, Mexico, and Fundación Altius.

 

As you are already fully aware, Mano Amiga Chalco principal Miss Lilia is an exceptional educator, leader and an inspiration to all whom she touches.  Anabel from Fundación Altius was a gracious host and clearly committed to the Mano Amiga program. 

 

 

I was fortunate that my Deutsche Bank colleague, Mike Gelhard, attended with me.  We were both blown away by the students, the facilities, the stories, and, most importantly, the joy that is pervasive in the school.

 

 

Thank you, Luanne, for introducing us to such special people.  Once again, thank you to Miss Lilia and Anabel for investing their time in Mike and me today.  I am back in New York, but will not forget the friends at Mano Amiga.
