Notes from some IAPE Participants
August 2008
TO ALL ORGANIZERS OF THE IAPE PROJECT:
Through these words, I would like to express my deepest appreciation for having given me the opportunity of living such a great experience at the Inter-American Partnership for Education this summer. It surpassed far beyond my expectations, both as English Teacher and as human being!
Organization was perfect, from the first contact by E-mail, to the present, even when it was over on July 20. We were amazed at how every detail was taken care of, the way we were treated, the unbelievable program, full of techniques, pedagogy, interesting lectures which enrich the professional activities we develop. The place is a dream, Professor Rassias is amazing and unforgettable, so full of energy and engaged in improving our English teaching.
What can I say about the facilities, the food, the program in general? I cannot find the words to express what this has meant in my life. As I say, it is a once in a lifetime experience. We all agree that we were one person before IAPE and a different one after it.... and of course, if as teachers we affect the lives of those around us, you can be sure that IAPE will go far beyond to unknown limits!
Once again, thank you. Every teacher in Mexico should have the opportunity to live such a wonderful experience.
Sincerely,

My experience with Rassias Method in Dartmouth College
It is quite difficult to describe how I lived the experience in The Inter-American Partnership for Education 2008, but I can say it was a very constructive one and certainly the most complete in all my professional life. Let me tell you that I have 22 years working in language teaching in different states in Mexico.
This experience was not only about language, but also about human development. Working with John Rassias, Jim Citron, Helene Rassias and all the staff was... amazing! I can not find another word to express it. Now I am sure it is possible to transform English Language instruction in Mexico.
Thanks Worldfund, thanks Televisa, thanks Nextel-Mexico. These kinds of opportunities should be spread for all English teachers in our country.
Sincerely,
